Alex Italics’s stylish and visually striking music videos have been viewed millions of times and represent a diverse group of artists including two-time Grammy Award winners They Might Be Giants, rock and roller Jon Spencer, New Zealand's prestigious Silver Scroll Award winners LIPS, and International Acoustic Music Award winners Ryanhood. His videos have been featured in Entertainment Weekly and PopMatters, who respectively described his work as "intriguingly unsettling" and "devilishly funny."

Italics' films and videos have been screened and honored at hundreds of film festivals all around the world, including The Slamdance Film Festival, San Diego Comic Con, Bumbershoot, and the Antarctic Film Festival.  He is a three-time winner of the Silver Ace Award at the Las Vegas International Film Festival, a two-time recipient of the Michelle B. Julien Screenwriting Award, was recently named the "Best Emerging Filmmaker" at the Prescott Film Festival, and was selected as the "Best Director" by both Independent Film Arizona and the Gwinett Center Film Festival.
